About Good Neighbor Brews
Good Neighbor Brews is the husband and wife team of Darin Petersen and Jill Bresnan. Founded in 2016, its the culmination of many years of brewing practice and business planning. Jill and Darin met and immediately discovered their common interests in brewing and bringing great ideas to life. While watching the craft brew scene flourish in the DFW area, Darin and Jill knew the timing was right and in 2016, Good Neighbor Brews was created.

Darin Petersen - Founder/Brewer
Darin was born and raised in The Windy City of Chicago, Illinois until his calling to move to the Dallas area was realized. Darin began the adventure of brewing back in 1994 after getting a Mr. Beer kit for Christmas. While making a career as a software developer and builder of small software companies, the allure of creating great beer has never left the forefront of his focus. Fast forward more than two decades of brewing, 3 kids and marriage, the beer is still going strong, albeit the equipment has taken up much more space in the home brewery! Always the detailed perfectionist, Darin enjoys that brewing is a great combination of creative and technical interests.
Jill 'Boss Lady' Bresnan - Founder/Sales
Jill is originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas and a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America. After college while working as a chef, Jill discovered homebrewing and added that to her repertoire of culinary skills. As the driving force behind the creation of Good Neighbor Brews, you can count on Jill to create great brewery concepts and bring them to fruition.
Alley Harrell - Assistant Brewer
Meet Alley Harrell. She was raised in Baton Rouge, LA. In 2012, she acquired an Associate's of Science degree from Chef John Folse Culinary Institute at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, LA. Later, Alley began to work her way up the ladder at Chef John Folse & Co. Her strenuous work ethic and undeniable abilities soon earned her the dual title of Media Chef and Executive Sous Chef of White Oak Plantation. The experience gained during that period instilled a very solid foundation for the rest of Alley's professional life. With a keen eye for detail, Alley is of great assistance. Being new to the craft brewery scene, she is a diamond in the rough. A diamond that we look forward to shaping and polishing to the Good Neighbor standards. Also, we should all be looking forward to Alley putting her mind together with our Master Brewer Darin to produce a gluten free beer.
